Hey all! I bought my wife this laptop in December as she has always wanted a touch screen. I just ran across some Crucial 16GB memory and wondering if I can add it to the existing HP original memory? The Crucial P/N is CT16G3ERSLD41608.36FN DDR3L. I haven't opened it up yet, so I'm not sure if this is soldered or slotted, but I think slotted? Anyone got any ideas if this will work? The price is definitely right, but not worth just having something laying around that will never get used. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Hi,
The RAM is soldered to the motherboard. So there are no slots and not possible to upgrade
You can see on page 1 of the service manual
https://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06435950.pdf
and on page 41 the various system boards with the ram already integrated on the motherboard.
Hope it helps,
David
