Hi:

See if installing the chipset driver and restarting the PC installs those devices...

to add further to this:

I have multiple machines with the same model for HP elite x2 G4.

in the device management -> PCI Device there is yellow exclamation:

Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DA4&SUBSYS_85B9103C&REV_11\3&11583659&0&FD requires further installation.

Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DA3&SUBSYS_85B9103C&REV_11\3&11583659&0&FC requires further installation.

We installed the drivers from the below link which solved the issue:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp101001-101500/sp101377.exe

We have another machine with the same model but the device information looks a bit different installed the same drivers but it did not work.

Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7360&SUBSYS_8337103C&REV_01\4&228dd570&0&00E0 requires further installation

You're very welcome.

One must have the optional mobile broadband adapter and one must not.

Check the product numbers, they are probably different.
