Common problems for Battery
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about: Battery Reports, Hold a charge, Test and Calibrating Battery . Check out this link: Is your notebook plugged in and not charging?

In device manager, Other Devices shows Yellow Triangles with exclamation points next to

Detection Verification, PCI Data Acquisition & Signal Processing Controller and PCI Device.

PCI Device Hardware ID info:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DA4&SUBSYS_84BB103C&REV_30
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DA4&SUBSYS_84BB103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DA4&CC_0C8000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DA4&CC_0C80

How should I resolve this?

What is the full model number or product number of your notebook and what operating system are you running on it?

The detection verification device is supposed to be installed by the Realtek audio driver on your notebook's support page.

The PCI Data Acquisition & Signal Processing Controller is ether  installed by the Intel chipset installation utility or the Intel Dynamic and Thermal Processing driver on the support page.

The PCI device is installed by the Realtek SD card reader driver on your notebook's support page.

The model #  14-ce2068st

product # 6ME71ua#ABA

OS: Windows 11 Home version 10.0.26200 Build 26200

BIOS F.32

The laptop produces sound and the SD card reader is functional.

Windows update & HP Support Assistant see everything as being updated.

Should I just ignore the Yellow warnings?

HP Recommended

The device manager should not have any yellow warning indicators, and it would be best to try and make them go away.

Can you post the hardware ID for the PCI device, because if the card reader is working, then it probably isn't the SD card reader that needs the driver.

This is most likely the driver you need for the PCI Data Acquisition & Signal Processing Controller:

Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Client Driver - Ice Lake / Kaby Lake / Whiskey Lake / Coffee Lake

8.6.10401.9906

sp98741.exe

If the above driver doesn't install the device, then you need this driver instead:

Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver

10.1.19444.8378

sp148947.exe

You can review this related discussion for how to install the Detection Verification device:

The notebook referenced in the article has the same processor and chipset generation as yours.

The PCI Device Hardware ID's :

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DA4&SUBSYS_84BB103C&REV_30
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DA4&SUBSYS_84BB103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DA4&CC_0C8000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DA4&CC_0C80

The PCI Data Acquisition & Signal Processing Controller HW ID's :

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DF9&SUBSYS_84BB103C&REV_30
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DF9&SUBSYS_84BB103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DF9&CC_118000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DF9&CC_1180

The Detection Verification HW ID:

{DD8E82AE-334B-49A2-AEAE-AEB0FD5C40DD}\DetectionVerification

I am wary of trying the suggested updates until you can assure me that they are the correct ones & will not harm my PC.

For the PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DA4 and PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DF9, you only need to install the Intel chipset installation utility & driver I posted.

I can't help you anymore than I can with the Detection verification driver.

A lot is issues with that and very few solutions.

It's trial and error.

That one isn't very important anyway--especially if the sound is working.

The other two are important devices that need to be functioning.
