Z Book Firefly 14
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi all

Does anyone know how I can get my Z Book Firefly USB ports to continuously charge?

For some reason the USB A will support a wireless charging pad for my iPhone but will not charge my Airpod pro case

Tried the USB C's as well, no joy, it starts to charge but turns itself off after a few seconds

If I plug the iPhone in directly it will charge as well

It's just the Airpod pro case that seems to not charge

It charges fine on my older Elitebook X360 so its not the case or leads

Thanks for any help or advice.

Ian Jones

They are TWO different devices, their requirements may not the same.

Looks like your charger does not have enough power to charge your machine. What is its rating (watt). It must be 65W at least.

Ah good point as I’m using my old charger for the X360 not the USB C one that came with the Z Book, will try that tomorrow & see if it resolves the issue.

the AirPod case does charge on my usb charging pad from the same USB port that it won’t charge directly from strangely though

thanks for your reply, will update.
