You have to get the different heatsink, too. It adds on to the existing cooling system to take heat away from the video card. It comes with one heatsink but you need a different one with a metal piece covering the MXM. And there is a specific one for nVidia and one for AMD.

Huffer, what adjustments did you have to make in the bios? I installed an Nvidia GTX 965m, and have been having ridiculous amounts of issues. I posted the specifics of my problems in these forums.

I used an HP Part number card...Quadro M2000M...not a GeForce...I don't think the system is compatible with a GeForce.
In the BIOS there was an option to set it to use only the Quadro card, which I did and not any switchable option, which would not work.
