Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After the latest upgrade of BIOS the ZBook G3 will not recognize any USB devices. I can not find what to fix.

Hi!, @Nikosp :

Check if your Zbook, is equal to the generic Maintenance and Service Manual pages 10 and 11, from … http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05805300 for the ports.

All are USB3. See … https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03327635

Thank you for visiting the HP Public Forum.
Have a nice day !.

Dear Support.

Before I contact you I did all this but to be sure I did again just now.

No this did not fix the issue.

I think the problem is deeper than that USB port; it is the USB HUB recognition. At Device Manager, the message is USB Root Hub (USB 3.0) with an exclamation next to it and NO devices listed under it.

When I double click on it I get to the Properties and the message is "This device cannot work properly until you restart your computer. (Code 14)

You need to restart your computer before the changes you made to this device will take effect.

Click Restart Computer to restart your computer."

Actions I've taken:

1. I deleted and reinstalled drivers from windows

2. I reinstalled the HP drivers: HP 3005pr USB 3.0 Port Replicator Driver - sp71914,  HP Universal Port Replicator Driver - sp71917 and Realtek USB and PCIe Media Card Reader Drivers - sp80672 but I still get the same message.

Maybe it is the proper order of things I have not feagire out yet but in any case, assistance is needed.

Thank you
