i was trying to install hp cool sense, so it asked to install .net framework but i already have .net framework 4 and it is not accepting it.

Hi:

 

HP Coolsense requires Net Framework 3.5 and the way to install that would be to go to the Windows control panel>programs>turn Windows features on or off. 

 

A window will open, and the first item listed should be Net Framework 3.5.

 

Check the box to install Net Framework 3.5 and restart the PC afterward.

 

Then see if you can install HP coolsense.

 

Your notebook may not support HP coolsense, so if it doesn't you may want to try the newer HP command center app which you can get from the Microsoft Store.
