activate wwan on HP Elite X360 1040 G9 ?

I have a HP Elite X360 1040 G9, and it seems to have a sim slot, but I'm not able to use it. In the doc there is a mention, that it needs to be activated in the factory, is there a way to do it afterwards ?

It cannot be done honestly. It is setup as a feature with the installed hardware at the factory..

WWAN is an option that , if desired, should have been selected pre-purchase, and then paid for.

If your laptop is new, now would be the time to return it and order one with a WWAN feature present

Are the WWAN module, connector board, antenna cables and antennas all present?

Are one of these WWAN modules installed? (the module is dependent on country and the applicable regulations)

Intel 5000 5G WWAN module M46335-001
Intel XMM 7560 R+ LTE-Advanced Pro (Cat 16) WWAN module M52040-001

This is also required
WWAN module thermal pad N02332-001
