Hallo Friends,
i own now a Laptop "HP Laptop 17-cp0xxx", which i bought without OS.
I did not know that its made only for Windows 10 and up. But i use Windows 8.1 on it.
Question: My Touchpad is not working - is there a workaround, that i can activate it under Windows 8.1 (64)?
Thank You very much!

Hi:
There aren't any W8.1 touchpad drivers for your notebook, and probably other devices as well.
The easiest thing to do would be to take the free upgrade from W8.1 to W10 so that everything works as it should.
You can get the free upgrade by making a bootable USB installation flash drive with the media creation tool from the link below.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
After the media has been created, open the flash drive in Windows explorer (this PC), and double click to run the Setup application you see listed there to begin the upgrade process.
