Hello,

I need to add a 2nd ssd hdd drive 1 TB or 2 TB to my laptop hp probook 470 G9.  It is possible a 2.5" HDD drive? Other solutions?

Thanks

The Maintenance & Service guide seems to show that as viable.

https://kaas.hpcloud.hp.com/pdf-public/pdf_6183831_en-US-1.pdf

The manual shows that an M.2 SSD is your primary storage device. There is an empty space for a 2.5"SSD or legacy HDD on the left next to the main battery.

The only problem is that you will have to also source and purchase and install the parts for the connecting port.

I can provide the part number information from the Maintenance & service guide.

The hard drive cable is available as HP spare part number M75893-001

Here is a disassembly video for the 470 G9 laptop.
