Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

Unfortunately, chapter 3 does not list any parts or part numbers to add a 2.5" drive, and in chapter 5, there is a procedure section listed to remove and replace the drive, but no written procedure, illustrations or part numbers.

 

I doubt anyone here can help you.

yes, it says in the documentation

Hard drive (not illustrated) L30422-001

and in the case there is a place for a 2.5 disk and the CN1700 port is also implemented, which means that you can connect the disk, it remains to find a compatible cable
unfortunately the documentation is not complete and does not contain mounting disk 2.5

I think if this is 1 standard, then a cable from other HP models with such a port and case should also work,
