I have 12 gig memory (4g + 8g) speed 3200 MT/s.  It swaps to disk often and slows down the Laptop.  It takes 10 minutes to cold boot.  This is a stock inexpensive laptop, disk

 

Can I add/replace memory? 

 

Can I add flash disk?

Yes, you can upgrade the memory, and you can add a M.2 NVMe SSD in the available M.2 slot.

 

Below is the link to the service manual:

 

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

 

Chapter 1 indicates you can install 2 x 8 GB of memory, but you should be able to install 2 x 16 GB of memory if you want.
