hp 22-d f0023w pc all-in-one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

not sure if this is the place I should be. I have an hp all-in-one 22-d f0023w pc. It has 8 gb. want to increase to 16 or 32. I am getting conflicting answers. My specs on the box tell me nothing. I'm not sure if it has 1 or 2 slots without opening up the case. Anyone have any ideas as to how many slots this model has. and can the slot support one 16 gb card, or two gb cards. Thanks

You can find the manuals here:

https://support.hp.com/th-en/product/hp-all-in-one-pc-22-df0000a/38240564/model/35610621/manuals

This manual (not sure this is for the US market) http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06615724.pdf shows on page 21 that it has 2 memory slots. However, the spec for the machine here https://support.hp.com/th-en/product/hp-all-in-one-pc-22-df0000a/38240564/model/35610621/document/c0... shows 1x8GB RAM.

So what you m ight have is 1 eight GB stick in there and you can add another for 16. You could put 16 GB in each slot for 32 total also. Most likely your machine will support more than that, but you might not find any HP reference supporting that.

I completely forgot a step.

In Windows Task Manager, click the Performance tab, then select Memory.

It will show you how many memory slots you have and what is in each one, and the speed of what is in there.
