I have a new hp14t dq100 with core i7 10th gen and m.2 256 NVME SSD, with windrow 10 pro, I  am wondering if I can add an additional hard disk drive to the notebook, since i saw in the manual that there is a space available. but am not sure whether there will be connection inside the computer for me to add the HDD.

The series does NOT offer dual storage options therefore no available parts (cable, bracket) for 2.5" HDD/SSD. I did post few times: Looks like HP would not offer dual storage with 2.5" HDD on new machine. Other vendors do the same.

One of my HP machine does not have slot/bay for adding 2.5" HDD/SSD. I also have 2 Dell machines, 2 Surface machines and one Apple machine, they do not has slot for 2.5" SSD/HDD.

You only have one option: replace existing M.2 256 NVMe SSD with a larger (capacity) one using

Or similar from reputable vendors.
