(have heard different answers for each of our notebooks...old one+brand new one)
What is the most IDEAL method to operate/maintain each of these notebooks??
(leave plugged in 24/7 -- unplug, drain, recharge monthly -- something else?)
1. HP Pavilion dv7-4270us Entertainment Notebook
(has the upgraded 9-volt battery pack)
2. HP ENVY x360 13t Convertible Touchscreen PC (13-yOXX)

Thank you...very helpful article
now let me paraphrase my own question about a different scenario:
What is most IDEAL operation method (for COMPUTER mechanism)?
(ie: plug in only when using, then drain; leave plugged in 24/7; etc)?
