hp 2000-2b43dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

so i have an hp 2000 and i want to buy a new motherboard and cpu for my laptop. I'm looking at the 685761-501 Motherboard, but one site says the cpu socket type is "FCPGA988" and another says it is ""PGA989", are they the same? and will the "Intel® Core™ i5-3210M Processor" be compatiable with it? which has a "rPGA988B" socket.

i got these motherboard and processor information from the user manual on the hp website for my computer, http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03575298

okay i understand that the processor socket is pga998, but before i order i need to make sure the motherboard has the same cpu socket, if you google search "   685761-501 cpu socket   " and without clicking just read the text for the 5th and 6th result you will understand what i mean when i say one page for the MOTHERBOARD says socket 998 and another page says socket 988. so my questions are,  why do two pages on the same MOTHERBOARD have two different answers to one question ? and if i order both the cpu and the motherboard will they be compatiable?

I'm just trying to make sure i dont order the wrong parts lol and i greatly appreciate all of the help so far thank you 😄
