Hello I have a HP NOTEBOOK 15 ay006nl laptop. It has a 4GB 2133 Ram and I purchased a Crucial 8GB 2400 Ram to mix with it. Is it okay to pair them even though there is a slight difference in frequency speed ? Any advices ?

Hi:
If you bought the Crucial DDR4-2400 memory chip that is recommended for the 15-ay0xx model series, it should work just fine.
It will automatically bridge to 2133 MHz to match the speed of the existing memory chip and the processor's 2133 MHz FSB speed.

Hello in my a HP NOTEBOOK 15 ay006nl laptop, I upgraded ram upto 12gb and now it works perfectly. But When I use cubase software, it is bit slow. When I check task manager, it shows DISK 0 ( C F D) HDD working percentage is 100%. Does that mean I have to replace a HDD to speed up my laptop? Is there any other way to do it like by using an external hard drive ?

Hi:
Unfortunately, I wouldn't know what the problem could be, but if you still have a mechanical hard drive installed, it would be a very good idea to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).
If you can live with 500 GB of storage, this SSD provides the best performance for the price, in my opinion.
