Hi here.
Kindly advise is it possible to upgrade hp laptop14-dq2055wm with backlit keyboard?
The question is in presence of backlit port in system board, I think. Backlit keyboards are available for 14-dq as far as I see.

Thanks for reply and clarification.
I am going to replace only Keyboard. Upper case part is might be dis assembled as I see and keyboard is available in the market. The question is whether the port/connector for backlit is in system board or in the upper case somewhere (generally it should provide additional power only) ? Is it feasible to replace keyboard only although it is not shown at official doc, but mechanically I do not see issues with this.?

Unfortunately I can't answer your question. Normally, the upper case including the keyboard is exchanged. It could be the case that an additional ribbon cable (for backlit) has to be connected to the mainboard.
It is best to compare the connections of the old and the new keyboard before installing the new one.
Good luck
