Hi @siddhesh5,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand you want to calibrate the battery on your HP Pavilion 15.6" Gaming Laptop PC 15-ec2000. We recommend using either the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI tool or performing a manual calibration. Here's how to do both:
Option 1: Calibrate Using HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI
- Shut down your laptop.
- Press the power button, then immediately press the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
- Press F2 to open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI.
- Select Component Tests > Power > Battery.
- Click Run once to start the battery test.
- If calibration is recommended, follow the on-screen instructions to begin the battery calibration process.
Option 2: Manual Battery Calibration
- Charge the battery to 100% while the laptop is on.
- Let the battery rest at 100% for 2 hours (keep it plugged in).
- Unplug the charger and let the battery drain completely until the laptop shuts down.
- Leave the laptop off for 3–5 hours.
- Plug in the charger and charge to 100% without interruption.
This process helps reset the battery's charge indicator and improves accuracy.

I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
