It's still able to operate as a battery but has significant wear on the cells so that they do not hold much power any more. In other words, time to replace the battery. Post back if you need more help with that.

pp. 33-35 of the Manual shows "how to".
Your model is not listed on the compatibility list but this is the right battery:
Tough to get original HP battery in India, but this is a perfectly fine alternative. Good luck.
