Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
after i upgraded from 4gb ram to 12gb ram i noticed that the battery drained fast. does that happen when ram is upgraded? and if so can there be anything done to stop this?

Welcome to HP forums.
Upgrading RAM will drain the battery faster.
Update BIOS and chipset driver form the HP website:- Click here
