hello,

I am facing an issue with the battery of my laptop, it is draining fast and it is even draining when it is switched off and it is also overheating, please help me any suggestion and solution for this issue

The starting point is you tell us the full model number of the laptop. Then we run a battery diagnostic from the HP Support Assistant or the pre-boot UEFI diagnostic environment. How old is the battery? Most battery problems can be fixed by replacing the battery.

i have tried both the options and it says battery is working normal. And my laptop is 10 months old only. the serial number of the laptop is [edit]

Your serial number is private. I needed the product or model number. A 10 month old battery is still in warranty in most cases so if you are not happy with it make a warranty claim. There is not much we can offer as self-help that makes much difference with a problem battery.
