hello friends i needed help. my computer battery was draining while my pc was off. i shut it down at 12 30 pm and when i returned in evening 50% of it has gone. i checked thoroughly i had properly shut down and no state of hibernation or sleep was there. so please suggest what to do and how to prevent it.
and what action might be taken. 
the battery was 2year old and completed its 228 cycles.

I understand you are facing a power-draining issue with your HP Notebook - 15-Da0411tu. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.\\

 

To assist better:

While you respond to that please try the below steps:

 

Update the BIOS & Chipset drivers:

  • Here's the link to download and install the above updates: Click here

If the issue persists, then please follow the below steps:

 

Please uninstall the ACPI battery drivers from the device manager by following these steps:

  • Right-Click on the start button> click device manager> expand Batteries>then select all the drivers including the ACPI drivers and uninstall it one at a time. Then restart the computer and check again.

If it does not get resolved, then calibrate the battery from this link: http://hp.care/2nCyXN3 and restore the power plan to defaults from here: http://hp.care/2rUUbXB

Then update the bios and chipset drivers from this link http://hp.care/2syreDe and follow the on-screen instructions.

Now check if the issue gets fixed.

  • Also, make a note of any failure code for a failed component like the battery or adapter (charger)

i want to mention than i have just updated to windows 11 new version 22H2. i have given my laptop for SSD upgradation.  i upgraded it in m.2 type. it wasn't a hp official store. i have encountered another problem today. my laptops battery suddenly died from 72% to 0%. and my BIOS version is  F.36  last updated on  02/03/2021.
