HP Pavilion – 15-cs3044nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

Is there any option to set a limit of 80% to charge a battery in my laptop in order to extend its life?

I just upgraded BIOS to F.11 (19.08.2020). from F.06 and nothing has changed.

My laptop model is HP Pavilion – 15-cs3044nw.

Thanks for help

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

That option is not available on HP's Consumer Notebooks

Thanks @KrazyToad,

Any idea about 3rd party software doing the job?

HP Recommended

Unfortunately for it to work effectively the BIOS settings needs to be unlocked and on HP Consumer Notebooks its not possible

You could try 3rd party software but there is no guarantee of the performance or even reliability of the results

Thank you
