battery is draining very fast and after diagnosis on HPsupport assistant its showing "31% weak ". till now i have used it only for 201 cycles where as its capacity is 1000 cycles . Please help me with this . Tell me what to doresult of hp support assistantresult of hp support assistant

Basing my suggestion on the information you have provided, which tells me that your battery will no longer charge beyond 47%, I recommend replacing the battery with a new one. 47% of  a much higher design capacity  would  indeed describe a weak battery.  A battery cycle is defined as a complete charge discharge. That does not fit the manner in which most people charge their notebooks, so it is not a true measure of the battery service life. 

 

If a notebook is used consistently in  high ambient temperatures, its battery will have a shorter than normal service life.

 

I wrote a Notebook Knowledge Base article in which  I describe how to get even more in depth information of a  main battery condition in Windows  10 OS.
