Hello 🙂,
I recently bought this laptop :
HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg0014nv
specs :
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Microprocessor
11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz
System memory
16 GB
( Memory slot 1
8GB Micron Technology 3200MHz
Memory slot 2
8GB Micron Technology 3200MHz )
Graphic device 1
Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics
Battery :
3-cell, 41 Wh Li-ion
At your site, it's mentioned that laptop video playback time is 8.30 hours with HD panel .
I checked it twice, only video streaming (not even on full screen) and nothing else running on the backround , I didn't get more than 4 hours before the battery reach <10% .
How much this laptop should be giving as battery backup?

To get the answer to this question, It's absolutely normal and a feature by design. The battery depends on the application and type of cells.
I checked the specifications of your computer and see that there is only 3-cell, 41-WHr, 3.6-AHr, Li-ion battery.
