my laptop battery level is stuck at 62%.
it detects when plugged in, and the battery appears to be functioning properly, but the battery level remains fixed at 62%.  neither lowers nor rises.

I do the battery test from the uefi, but it seems to be everything ok.

any suggestions?

Have you used the Battery-Report utility to see what condition and how many cycles your battery has had?

Your laptop seems to not be calibrating itself, judging from your description. Calibrate the battery manually as described in the video below.
