I have a HP ENVY X360 touchscreen that is 7 years old. Looking at it you would thinks its almost brand new (i take care of my $h!t). Anyways the battery is internal and can not be replaced and is no longer taking a charge and is now at 8%, what I am needing to know is once the battery hits 0% will the laptop continue to operate as long as it has a charger plugged into it or will it essentially be a paper weight? Thanks in advance for your time and input!

The battery can and should be replaced. We can help you do it. It's just internal and you need to remove the back to get to it. Battery will cost $50-100. Let us know if you want to keep using it. You could use it after the battery is dead but will cause some annoying issues.

Thank you so much! I have already ordered a new laptop 1) because this one is not windows 11 comaptable and at first i was being told the battery was non rplaceable and I am now dow to 5%. At least now I can cheaply replace the bettery and make use of this laptop for something else rather seeing it being destroyed cause it really is in good condition.
