Product: HP ProBook 450 G2 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I switched on my pc and plugged in but was not charging and I saw the message "PLUGGED IN BUT NOT CHARGING". my battery is 1% and shut down when I remove the power cord.

 

The model is HP ProBook 450 G2 Notebook PC.

The mere length of time is a bit short but there are other factors like cycles. The test don't lie time for a new battery.

How old is the laptop and how old is the battery? Have you tried the battery test in the UEFI diagostics? esc then f2 as you power up.

I bought the laptop in March 2016, I ran the test but says I need replacement.

I am surprised my battery did not last long
