Common problems for Battery
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about: Battery Reports, Hold a charge, Test and Calibrating Battery . Check out this link: Is your notebook plugged in and not charging?

I purchased a laptop with a missing battery. Research revealed that this 15z-aw000 ( V5C5OAV) model requires a battery 849909. However, all the pictures I find show only the battery. My laptop has an unmarked10-pin connector located close to the battery compartment (internal battery), which suggests that a cable is required to connect the battery to the MB. All that said, here are my 2 questions:

1. Is the 849909 battery the correct one for this laptop?

2. If this battery requires a cable to connect to the MB, what is part number of the required cable?

Thanks in advance,

@jtheires

Part # 849909  is invalid. V5C5OAV is also invalid, it should be V5C50AV (zero, not letter O) which gives

And part # for battery is  849909-855, which is Assembly-battery 2C 41WH 5.36Ah LI BP as an Assembly-battery, it should include cable.

Regards.
