Hi @parthosh,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP Envy x360 is experiencing a couple of issues related to the battery and audio. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot.
Battery Shutdown Issue
Check Battery Health:
- Windows Settings: Go to Settings > System > About > Device specifications. Look for "Battery" to see if it's showing any errors or health issues.
- Battery Report: Open Command Prompt as an administrator and type powercfg /batteryreport. This will generate a battery report that shows the health and usage of your battery.
Update Drivers:
- Make sure your battery and chipset drivers are up to date. You can do this through Device Manager by expanding the "Batteries" section, right-clicking on your battery device, and selecting "Update driver."
BIOS Update:
- Sometimes, battery issues can be resolved by updating the BIOS. Check the HP support website for your model to see if there’s a BIOS update available.
Calibrate the Battery:
- Charge your laptop to 100%, then unplug it and let it run until it completely discharges. Then, charge it back to 100% without interruption. This can help recalibrate the battery's charge level.
Audio Disturbance
Update Audio Drivers:
- Go to Device Manager, expand the "Sound, video and game controllers" section, and update the audio drivers.
Check Audio Settings:
- Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar, select Sounds, and check if any enhancements are enabled that might be causing disturbances. Disabling enhancements can sometimes fix audio issues.
Run Audio Troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings > System > Sound and scroll down to the "Advanced" section. Click on Troubleshoot to run the audio troubleshooter.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
