@saminmurali, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

1. Check the Error Code in Device Manager

Press Windows + X → click Device Manager.

Expand Bluetooth, then right-click on the Realtek Bluetooth Adapter → click Properties.

Note the error code under Device status (e.g., Code 10, Code 43, etc.).

2. Enable the Device (if possible)

Right-click the Realtek Bluetooth Adapter → click Enable device (if the option is available).

If it's grayed out or gives an error, move on to reinstall the driver.

3. Uninstall the Bluetooth Driver

In Device Manager, right-click the Realtek Bluetooth Adapter → choose Uninstall device.

Check the box that says "Delete the driver software for this device" if prompted.

Click Uninstall.

Restart your laptop.

4. Reinstall the Correct Realtek Bluetooth Driver

Go to your laptop’s official HP support page and search your model number (e.g., HP Pavilion 15 6E1P9EA).

Find and download the latest Bluetooth driver under the “Driver – Network” section.

Install it and restart your PC.

5. Re-enable Bluetooth Services

Press Windows + R, type: services.msc → press Enter.

Find the following:

Bluetooth Support Service → Right-click → Properties → Set Startup type to Automatic, then click Start.

Do the same for:

Bluetooth Audio Gateway Service

Bluetooth User Support Service

6. Run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter

Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.

Scroll down and run Bluetooth.

Let Windows detect and repair the issue.

7. Check for Hidden Devices in Device Manager

In Device Manager, click View > Show hidden devices.

If Bluetooth shows under “Other Devices” or with a yellow triangle, repeat Step 3.

8. Check BIOS & Windows Updates

Go to HP Support Assistant

Update BIOS and chipset drivers.

Make sure Windows is fully updated: Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
