Hello @Jasper28,
The HP Pavilion 17-f050nd Notebook PC uses a fan with HP Spare Part number 765788-001.
You can then use the HP Spare part number(s) in the HP Parts store here. You may also be able to find it elsewhere on the Internet.
Steps to the replacement of the fan are located on pages 119-120 of your computer's Maintenance and Service Guide. The procedure is a bit meticulous and I would be cautious when disconnecting the fan cable from the system board. (Trust me, I've had a traumatic experience in the past)
Hope this helps,
Eddy

Hello @Jasper28,
A specific model/product number would be appreciated. (Please do not post serial numbers on the HP Support Forum)
Information on how to find a laptop's model/product number is detailed in this HP document.
BTW how did you confirm that the fan was broken?
Kind regards,
Eddy

Thanks for your reply,
The model is HP pavilion 17 notebook PC
Productnumber: J5B41EA#ABH
Everytime I startup my laptop tells me my fan is broken. Also, I can't hear it spinning even when my laptop is overheating.
Kind regards,
jasper28
