HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ey0000 (54J83AV)

I've had this laptop for a year now and sudden the hinges popped off. When one of the hinges popped off, it started a crack on the screen. It seems that this issue is something that happens with this brand of laptop. Of course it happens 2 months after the warranty ends and now I'm stuck wondering what to do. I don't understand how this could be a known issue by HP and they not have recalled things or extended the warranties.

Apparently even though this is a known issue, HP doesn't care at all about it's customers. Don't bother trying to contact them, they will just give you the run around and then try to charge you basically the cost of a new laptop to fix the problem they know they have. It's absolutely insane. If you are seeing this and wondering if you should by the hp envy 360, don't. If you've already bought one, I'm so sorry for you.
