HP Pavilion x360 - 14-ba007na

The left hand hinge on my Pavilion x360 has broken.

The device is out of warranty but i'd like to know what parts I need to order, and would appreciate some instructions on replacing the parts myself.

Are you able to help.

Kind regards

Darran

The problem is you cannot tell what parts need replacement until the laptop is disassembled and inspected. Might be just the hinge itself but it might be plastic chassis pieces where the hinge attaches to the body of the laptop. Here is the Service Manual:

Post back if you need more help with this. It is not a trivial repair although can be done for a reasonable cost as long as not too much damage has been done by the failing hinge.
