System board is failing on my laptop. Will blank out after sitting a while, white screen, display is pixelated if try to manipulate the laptop with a keyboard/mouse input; have to power cycle boot to use.

 

Suspect system-board failure. Of course this started to occur after warranty expired 3.5 years. Would expect a decent lifespan of 5-10 years.

 

The system-board part replacement is not available: 924717-601 MB UMA A12-9720P WIN

 

What is compatible replacement? and will it use same part number, BID and featrebyte configuration? or alternate configuration?

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
