Thank you Paul, very useful info.

I will study all the manual at length not only on upgrade to the ram but but all the other info.

I'm used to upgrading ram for many years but never removed the whole bottom tray of a laptop just to insert new ram.

You're very welcome.

 

Yes, things have changed for the worse when doing simple upgrades.

 

No more access doors or panels.

 

You have to take the whole bottom cover off at a minimum on almost all of these newer model notebooks.
