Hi @productionsjjd,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you want to know if your HP Notebook 14s-dq1505sa support docking station

Yes, you can use a docking station with your HP Notebook 14s-dq1505sa to achieve dual displays while keeping the laptop lid closed.

Here’s what you need to consider:

Docking Station Compatibility: Ensure that the docking station you choose is compatible with your laptop. HP offers several docking stations, such as the HP USB-C Dock G5 or HP Thunderbolt Dock G2, which can support multiple monitors.

Connections: Check the ports on your laptop and the docking station. Most docking stations will connect via USB-C or Thunderbolt, so make sure your laptop has the necessary port.

Setting Up Dual Displays: After connecting the docking station:

  • Go to Settings > System > Display on Windows.
  • Here, you can configure the display settings, including extending or mirroring displays.

Lid Closure: To keep your laptop functioning with the lid closed, you'll need to adjust the power settings:

  • Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options.
  • Click on Choose what closing the lid does and set it to Do nothing.
