Hello community!
I would like to equip my notebook, HP 250 G7, product number 6MQ56EA, with an SSD.

I would like to replace the 1TB HDD with a 1TB SSD.
Can someone tell me if that is possible, please?
Has anyone had any experience with it?
Thanks and LG
Helmut

27.11.2020 - SOLVED!

I solved my problem with the purchase of "Crucial MX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5" 7mm

(with 9.5mm adapter) Internal SSD ".

You can check the notebook on the Crucial homepage and I was shown several SSDs

which were compatible with my notebook. I chose the 1TB SATA SSD.
Crucial also provided the right software on their side which I needed to clone the 1TB HDD.
All in all, the whole action lasted 3 hours and now it's finally really fun to work with the notebook.

Another one have also this problem.

I did a lot in my old notebook by removing the CD Drive and install a caddy to hold the HDD/SSD, this url is one of the example:

You need to observed the thickness of your current CD-Drive and also the shape at the end, there are several type of shape and model, just make sure it fit to your laptop.
