Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I wanted to upgrade my laptop so i know i can upgrade my ram but can i upgrade my processor to any of intel processor if i can upgrade to any better processor so please suggest me of any company and also i wanted to fix the hang problem how can i do so please tell me as soon as possible.

HP Recommended

No computer can be upgraded from an AMD to an Intel processor. The plug interface is different. We would need to know your exact model number but if I recall you could upgrade to an AMD A10 series processor. Your best upgrade is to max the memory and install a solid state drive instead of mechanical hard drive.
