Hit the options button on your own post that you gave yourself the solution and pull down the menu....pick "not the solution". Then give it someone who deserves it, ie @Paul_Tikkanen. And you can stop being cute with the winbl***s thing. We all understand what you mean. Also keep in mind that the WannaCry thing targets Windows 7. Are you sure you want to give your mom an unsafe OS? Seriously, do you really understand what is going on under the hood and know more than the security engineers? Google the word "Luddite".

Luddites reject new technology, im just more selective of it, abd ive seen 8,8.1,and 10, i don't like it, as for her laptop, she has said for years she hates 8/8.1, and she has had to send it out to try to have something fixed that hp advised her to send for repair on only to not fix it when they got it, as for the wannacry thing ive never even heard of it, what is it? Some kind of bug?

ok i got my 8460p and except for the os and a drive im posting a question it seems to be doing good, now my question is, what dvdrw drives are compatible for this? it came with just a plain dvd rom, i want ot be able to burn and reburn things, and i want it to be something i dont have to plug an external cord for, i want to change out the drive in it for something that burns and reburns both cds and dvds, i would like a respectable speed with not too much cost, and i plan to downgrade to 7 so it would need to work in 7,
