So you want two (2) external monitors? From the laptop itself you have one (1) HDMI port. In order to have a second external monitor you need a port replicator/docking station with DisplayLink technology. Your USB-C port does not carry a video signal so you have to have an external device that will drive a display over a usb data connection. There are many many options but this is an example:
You would use a USB 3 to USB-C adapter to plug this into the laptop USB-C port. It does not power the laptop or turn it on/off.
You could actually have 3 external monitors if you use the two(2) on this and the builtin HDMI port.

You can add ONE external monitor using HDMI port. If you wish to add more than ONE monitor and sing extend display, you need a dock.
