Hello good morning, can i increase the ram memory? HP Envy x360 2-in-1 Laptop 15-fe0013dx (7H9Y2UA)

I would like to know how much I can increase the RAM and what characteristics I should look for.

Thanks

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I don't believe that there is anything you can do about those issues.

You could install a larger capacity NVMe SSD but that would just increase storage space.

There should be a setting in the BIOS - Fan always on when on A/C power.

You can disable that, but it won't have any effect on the fans coming on when needed.

You have memory issue with just 8 GB of memory.

My comfort zone is at the 50% memory usage level or less.

Hi:

Your notebook's memory is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.

Moterboards in that model series come preconfigured with either 8 GB or 16 GB of onboard memory.

Below is the link to the service manual:

Thank you very much for your response. I just bought it. It's used, it barely has any pre-installed programs, but the fans turn on very frequently and very loudly. What could I do to avoid this? The RAM usage fluctuates between 75 and 89%.Any help if I change the hard drive?
