Hi:

 

Unfortunately, no one can tell you with 100% certainty that a 4 TB NVMe SSD will work in your notebook.

 

There are no programs that I know of you can run to determine how large a capacity NVMe SSD you can install.

 

Theoretically the sky's the limit as long as the memory chips are only on one side of the SSD (single sided) due to slot clearance.

 

Other than that, the service manual indicates HP offered NVMe SSD's up to 1 TB in the model series.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

 

The Crucial SSD report for your notebook indicates that they sell 4 TB NVMe SSDs for it.
