Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the computer:  http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06189781

 

On Page 46 is a list of compatible M.2, SSD's, and instructions for removing and reinstalling them.  I believe that you can most likely use a larger drive if you have a need.  Also, here is the 256 GB drive on HP PartSurfer:  https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=865902-004

 

This will give you the specifications for it.

 

The guide has all of the information that you will ever need for the computer.
