Pavilion x360 convertible

my laptop is a hp pavilion x360 convertible and i only have a an intel i3 processor i'd ideally like a processor that is good for both games and work and mine just cant run games very well would i be able to buy a processor online and then swap it for the processor in my laptop

Hi:

 

The processor is an integral part of the motherboard.

 

The only way to upgrade the processor would be to replace the motherboard with one listed in your notebook's service manual that may come with a better processor.

 

A project like that, (if you could even find the motherboard part for sale), usually meets or exceeds the cost of buying a new notebook with a better processor already included.
