i want to add an NVMe SSD to my laptop and want to flash windows in it because it is getting slow day by day with my HDD of 5400 RPM. does the bios support this upgrade in my laptop which is latest one maybe.
my spec:
HP laptop 15g-br1xx
windows 10(64 bit)
intel core i5 8th gen 8250U
system bios -- F.52
graphic -- AMD radeon R7 M340 of 4GB
its under warrenty, does it violate . please elborate simply.

Your product support M.2 SATA-3 configuration (value) (not for Intel Pentium Silver N5000/Celeron N4000 processors):
● 256 GB
● 128 GB
M.2 SATA-3 conƭJuratLons (TLC) (not for Intel Pentium Silver N5000/Celeron N4000 processors):
● 512 GB
● 256 GB
● 128 GB
Dual storage conƭJuratLons (Intel Core processors only)
● 256 GB Value SSD + 1 TB HDD
● 128 GB Value SSD + 1 TB HDD
Please upgrade the SSD as per the above configuration.

As per the Service Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257 this Notebook can support up to 16 GB RAM

I understand your concern.
In the manual, it has not mentioned NVMe. It will not support it.

SSD will be manufactured in different brands. You can use anyone that is compatible.
Please make sure that the following dual configuration.
Dual storage conƭJuratLons (Intel Core processors only)
● 256 GB Value SSD + 1 TB HDD
Your model has the SSD port.
Internal Card
One M.2 slot for SSD
One M.2 slot for WLAN
