my charger recently broke and all i have is a 90 watt charger my old charger used to be 150 watt if i know the charging will be a little slower with the 90 watt charger but will it effect gaming performance while plugged in as i have used 65 watt chargers with my laptop in situations i forgot my charger

Use the smaller charger only to charge up your laptop when it is powered off.
I suspect the 150 watt charger was damaged by prolonged use. Probably game play at turbo speed.
Replace the 150 as soon as possible. You can damage the laptop using an underpowered charger.
Go to the below site and enter your serial number

Look for the part you need such as fan, cable, battery, etc.
Once you find the part number you can search the internet for a vendor. Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, all have their own search engines.
Question: Did the 150 watt charger come with the laptop originally?

yes it did come with 150 watt but i have never had any issue with my old laptop while using a under powerder charger
and i tested the charging speed with the 150 watt charger which i got from a friend and used the 90 watt charger i got almost the same charging time and you did not give me the main ans will it hurt performance

it depends on the game you play. If plants-vs-zombies or spider solitaire then it wont hurt performance.
