If you install more than 16 GB, do it the smart way, only purchase and use memory that is guaranteed to work.
Crucial guarantees the amount they advertised.

The Samsung 860 EVO 1 TB 2.5" SSD is compatible, but the Samsung 870 EVO 1 TB 2.5" SSD is a better version.
Price- wise it doesn't get better.

ok i pressed it and looked it over i noticed that below the item it recommended i get the Corsair Dual SSD Mounting Bracket (3.5” Internal Drive Bay to 2.5", Easy Installation) Black and the BENFEI SATA Cable III, 3 Pack SATA Cable III 6Gbps Straight HDD SDD Data Cable with Locking Latch 18 Inch Compatible for SATA HDD, SSD, CD Driver, CD Writer - Black. are these necessary to use the ssd? on a side note when i change the ssd i also plan to change the ram so id also like to ask if i were to buy the Corsair VENGEANCE LPX DDR4 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz CL18 Intel XMP 2.0 Computer Memory - Black (CMK32GX4M2D3600C18) would it not only work for my computer but would it support either 3600mhz or 4000mhz if not or if you have a better opinion on what type of ram i should get could you please list it thank u so much

You could use velcro tape if you wanted to. An adapter is just what most people use.

I would recommend Crucial Memory since they guarantee their upgrade memory will work in your laptop. If Corsair guarantees their memory will work in your specific laptop, use theirs.
Here is a link to Crucial Memory guaranteed compatible memory and SSD products.
If you install DRAM that is faster than 2666 MHz it will automatically clock down to 2666 Mhz, so there is no real advantage to installing faster memory.
The 870 Samsung SATA III2.5" is the top rated SSD for 2023.

Okay thank you so much I'm so sorry but one more question how much RAM does my computer take I tried looking it up and at first it said only 16 GB of RAM but then somewhere else is telling me it takes between 32 and 64 g of ram and I don't want to buy either too much or too little and then not be able to install it
