I have been connecting two external monitors to my HP Pavilion - 15-cs3075cl laptop.
One was via an HDMI cable directly from the Samsung monitor to the HDMI port on my laptop.
The other was via an HDMI cable that went to a hub that then connected to the USB-C port. This one could also be done via HDMI-to-USB through the usual USB port.
Everything was working fine (although admittedly video response was a bit slow.)
Then I upgraded Windows 11 with the most recent security fix and Microsoft-recommended patches. Ever since then, only ONE external monitor works. If I plug both in, only the one connected to the HDMI port worked. As soon as I unplug the HDMI-connected monitor, the other one works. And vice versa.
Any suggestions? I realize this is a rather weird problem.

Its specs

It ONLY has 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
For more connectivity, please use
True Universal Docking Stations

Thanks for helping Banhien. I already have the two monitors installed just as you described. The problem is not that the computer doesn't support the two monitors -- it was working fine just a few days ago. The problem is that ever since the Microsoft update to Windows 11 (or perhaps due to some other change I am not aware of), the two monitors don't work AT THE SAME TIME. I can get them to work one at a time, just not simultaneously. Any ideas?
